  Christopher Nelson is a seasoned public-school leader in educational technology, instructional innovation, and data-driven strategy, with over three decades of experience. He has held key leadership roles, including Director of Technology, Chief Information Officer (CIO), and District Data Privacy Officer in multiple school districts across New York State, where he has led IT strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, and professional learning programs.

Throughout his career, Christopher has directed large-scale technology implementations, led high-performing teams, and driven transformative educational initiatives. As an active leader in professional organizations such as The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) and The New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE), he has contributed to national conversations on educational technology policy, data privacy, and innovation.

Christopher holds an MBA in Information Management and a CAS in Educational Leadership. His passion lies in leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and foster sustainable innovation in education.
